Old-time Music Jam at Stonebridge Farm: every first Monday at 7pm

The folks of Stonebridge Farm CSA near Lyons have graciously offered their Sunflower room for a monthly old-time jam. Please come, bring instruments, BYO drinks and a snack to share if so inclined. Everyone welcome from 7-10pm.

Address: 5169 Highway 66, Longmont, Co 80503. It's 2 miles east of Lyons on the north side of the road (look for mailbox and sandstone marker). Please park in the lot by the road and walk uphill past house, barn and to the greenhouse/Sunflower room which will be lit and warmed by the woodstove.

WHAT: Lyons Old-Time Square Dance and Snack Pot-luck. Old-time reels, mixers, squares, waltzes and clogging to live fiddle/banjo music!

WHEN: first Saturday nights January through April and the Saturday before Hallowe'en. 7-10pm. 2012 schedule: 1/7, 2/4, 3/3, 4/7 and 10/27.

WHERE: Odd Fellows Hall, SW corner of 4th and High Sts, downtown Lyons.

COST: $7/adult, $4/child/senior, $15/family.

INFO: All dances are taught by a live caller and are beginner and family-friendly! Dances earlier in the evening are easiest and then become more complex as the evening progresses. Come alone, bring family/friends and join our mix of beginner and welcoming seasoned dancers. No experience, partner or special shoes required!
